CUNY Professor Filmed Ripping Down Missing Israeli Posters

( – A college professor who claims to be non-binary was caught on video tearing down Israeli hostage posters and then attacking the person filming her, Breitbart News reported.

In the video posted on social media by Stop Antisemites, CUNY professor Callen Zimmerman is seen ripping down the signs. She tells the woman filming her to “go colonize somewhere else.”

When the woman filming her tries to follow Zimmerman, she reaches out to hit her.

According to a post from Stop Antisemites, Zimmerman’s bio at Stoney Brook University in Long Island, which has subsequently been deleted, described her as a Ph.D. student in women’s and gender studies.

The deleted bio also said she taught at City Tech and York College, which are part of CUNY.

However, City Tech told Breitbart News that Zimmerman has not taught at the school for several years.

A spokesperson from Stony Brook told the UK Daily Mail that the video of Zimmerman does not represent the views of the school. The spokesperson described Zimmerman’s actions as “vile and infuriating” and said the university “unequivocally” condemns antisemitism.”

While the university does not believe that Zimmerman “engaged in such conduct” while on campus, the spokesperson told the Mail that it would conduct a review.

Altercations between pro-Hamas and pro-Israel factions in the US became deadly on Monday after a 69-year-old California man was killed after an altercation with a pro-Palestinian protester in Ventura County, KTLA reported.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles said Paul Kessler, who was attending a pro-Israel demonstration, was stuck on the head by a pro-Palestinian counterprotester wielding a megaphone.

According to the Ventura County Medical Examiner, Kessler died from blunt force trauma, and his death has been ruled a homicide.
