Biden Admits DRUG PROBLEM – Issues Special Statement!

( – One of the subjects that came up during President Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address on Tuesday was the fentanyl crisis. Republicans responded by lashing out at Biden, one even shouting “it’s your fault!”

After addressing the father of a 20-year-old woman who died of an overdose in 2014, as well as stating that over 70,000 Americans are killed by fentanyl every year, GOP members erupted in response by openly blaming the president for the situation.

Two US Border Patrol chiefs confirmed to Congress that since last October, enough of the drug was seized at the border (approximately 9,400 lbs) “to kill every American five times over,” according to Tennesse Rep. Tim Burchett.

In December, California Gov. Gavin Newsom released a statement about the crisis and its impact on his state, which he said “has touched every part of California, and our nation, this year.”

During the State of the Union, several Republicans shouted at the president about the border situation as well as China’s role in the fentanyl epidemic. When one Republican shouted “it’s your fault!” at the president, Biden responded with a grin.

Biden called to launch more efforts to stop the production, sale, and trafficking of fentanyl across the border by using “more drug detection machines to inspect cargo and stop pills and powder” as well as working with couriers “to inspect more packages for drugs” and enacting stronger penalties.

Controversial GOP Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene posted a tweet related to the incident on Tuesday, calling Biden the “best business partner” of the Mexican cartels, who murder Americans “with Chinese-made fentanyl.”

It’s difficult to blame Republicans for having such a visceral reaction to Biden’s statements, which do come off as rather contradictory in the face of the open border policies that the Biden administration advocates for.
