(ConservativeSense.com) – Tucker Carlson, former host of Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” recently declared that “Bobby Kennedy is winning” on episode six of his “Tucker on Twitter” series.
Carlson began the episode by saying that Democratic presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. is the mainstream media’s most hated presidential candidate, saying that Donald Trump got a “gentle scalp massage” by comparison when he first announced his candidacy in 2015.
Carlson traced the media’s negative coverage of Kennedy back to a July 2005 article in which the presidential candidate raised questions about a potential link between vaccines and autism.
As the Western Journal noted, pharmaceutical companies often reap the benefits of large tech companies censoring those who issue their own dissents against vaccines. Instagram, for example, shutdown Kennedy’s account last month before it was shortly reinstated.
The Western Journal also noted YouTube’s removal of a video featuring a conversation between Kennedy and Jordan Peterson. In an additional instance of attempted censorship, Anna Merlan, a staff writer for the now-bankrupt Vice.com, demanded that Spotify censor an episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast after featuring a discussion between Rogan and Kennedy.
While Carlson believes that Kennedy may be a dark horse in the Democratic primary, Kennedy still has to unseat President Joe Biden, who is currently leading in the primary vote by over 50 points, according to RealClearPolitics.
To make matters more unfavorable for Kennedy, no incumbent Democratic president has participated in a Democratic primary debate since Gerald R. Ford’s presidency. The Democratic National Committee has also decided to support Biden completely, tuning out any challenge from candidates hoping to unseat Biden as the party nominee.
The Republican Party also hasn’t bothered to hold primary debates when running a candidate who was already an incumbent president, and it would appear that both parties have no intention of allowing primary challengers to debate incumbents.
Marianne Williamson, the other candidate challenging Biden in the Democratic primary, has long accused the Democratic National Committee of “rigging” the primary to favor certain candidates over others.
