Trump’s ENEMY Might Run In 2024 Against Him!

(ConservativeSense.com) – Speculation ensued that former Republican governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, will be attempting another run for the White House in 2024 due to his planned visit to New Hampshire later this month.

The former New Jersey governor, who served for two terms, ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 but wasn’t successful. Christie has said multiple times over the last year that he’s still thinking about running again in 2024. In an interview last fall, Christie told Fox News Digital that he’s “definitely thinking about it” but hasn’t “made any final decisions” and won’t decide until the following year.

For his trip to New Hampshire, Christie is set to headline an event at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics on Monday, March 27. For over twenty years, the institute remains a usual stop for candidates and potential candidates running for president from both the Republican and Democratic parties.

Last April, Christie traveled to the institute to headline the “Politics and Eggs” speaker series, which was founded in 1995 and has hosted almost every major presidential candidate since. The Saint Anselm College website describes the event as “a ‘must stop’ on the presidential campaign trail.”

Of the other 2016 Republican contenders, Christie was the first to endorse Donald Trump after he won the nomination, and spent years as an outside advisor during Trump’s presidency. The two have since fallen out, especially after the events of Jan 6, 2021. Last month, Christie took a jab at the former president as “the only man to lose to Biden outside of Delaware” after Trump called the former New Jersey governor “sloppy.”

Last year, Christie said he disagrees that the Republican Party is “dominated by Donald Trump,” but by “conservative principles that we want to stand for.”

Trump announced his third run for the White House in November, and polls seem to indicate he is still the front-runner among Republicans, with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in second place or even neck and neck.

Although DeSantis hasn’t yet announced a presidential run, it’s expected that he will enter the race, and it seems unlikely that Christie will stand a chance against him or Trump.
