Trump Slams Fulton County Prosecutor Over Romantic Partner Allegations

( – Donald Trump has lashed out at Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis after revelations about her romantic life and an alleged “improper” relationship with a fellow attorney. District Attorney Willis reportedly had a love affair with a special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, and was subpoenaed to testify on his impending divorce.

Subsequently, Mike Roman, a fellow defendant in the election interference case against Trump, filed a motion saying Willis is in an “ongoing, personal relationship” with Wade, who has received $654,000 for his work on the Trump case, and the pair have used those funds to take vacations together.

“Willis has benefited substantially and directly, and continues to benefit, from this litigation because Wade is being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to prosecute this case on her behalf,” the motion claims.

Former President Trump argued that Willis was compromised and the case against him should be dropped. Mr. Trump also appeared in a Washington, DC, courtroom to call for Presidential immunity related to a separate legal battle he is fighting against Department of Justice Special Prosecutor Jack Smith.

  1. John Sauer, Trump’s attorney, argued that Presidential immunity applies and, therefore, the former President should not face charges. Jack Smith responded, stating there was no immunity because the charges relate to actions taken by Mr. Trump while acting outside of the President’s official capacity.

Meanwhile, Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene filed a complaint alleging criminal misconduct by the Fulton County DA. A staunch Trump ally, Taylor Greene submitted a formal grievance with Georgian Governor Brian Kemp and Attorney General Chris Carr, arguing that Willis’s alleged relationship with Nathan Wade is “an illegal conflict of interest.”

Taylor Greene furthermore argues that Willis, a Democrat, has “weaponized” her office to persecute a political opponent and interfere with the 2024 Presidential election.

Last August, Willis filed charges against Trump, including racketeering, conspiring to commit forgery, conspiring to commit false statements, solicitation of violation of oath by a public officer, and conspiring to file false documents.
