Trump Raises $200+ Million Since Verdict

( – Following the guilty verdict handed to former President Donald Trump in Manhattan last week, he has reportedly pulled in over $200 million in donations since the verdict was announced.

On Thursday, May 30, a Manhattan jury handed Trump a guilty verdict on all 34 counts against him. The unprecedented ruling marked the first time in American history that a former president was convicted of a felony. Only a few days out from that decision, and Trump seems more popular than ever, even making a public appearance in New Jersey at UFC 302 to a crowd roaring with applause.

Now, one of the former president’s sons, Eric Trump, says his father’s campaign raised over $200 million following the Manhattan jury’s verdict.

Eric Trump appeared on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” and was asked about the amount of money raised by his father since the news broke. He replied that just before leaving the house for the interview, he asked his wife, Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump, what the current number was and she said in smaller donations they were “well over $70 million.” Eric Trump said when adding the larger dollar donations to that number, the full amount comes in at “over $200 million.”

Eric Trump added that at least 30% of those smaller donations came from people who were first-time donors and “have never been seen before by a political party.” He concluded that those donors are “Americans who are pissed off” about what’s happening to his father and the state of the country, and believes they are now “coming out of the woodwork” to “support a guy” they believe is being “bamboozled” by the system.

Just a few hours after the verdict, on the following day, the media was already reporting that Trump’s campaign raised over $34 million, and then that number was being reported above $50 million. According to the former president’s son, that number now exceeds $70 million in donations from average Americans. It appears the weaponization of the justice system against Trump is dramatically backfiring on the Democratic Party.
