Satanic Temple Announces NEW LABEL – It’s Pure Evil!

( – In New Mexico, the Satanic Temple decided to open an abortion clinic to provide abortion pills to state residents at least 17 years old who are up to 11 weeks pregnant and eligible.

The clinic will be called “The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic,” a name chosen to mock Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, author of the opinion that overturned Roe v. Wade last year which held that the Constitution of the United States of America does not cover the right to an abortion.

They referenced Alito’s mother in the name of the clinic because, according to Malcolm Jarry, co-founder of The Satanic Temple, in 1950 she “did not have options, and look what happened.” He stated that the name “serves to remind people just how important it is to have the right to control one’s body and the potential ramification of losing that right.”

Jarry founded The Satanic Temple with Lucien Greaves in 2012, and it meets the requirements for government benefits and privileges as a religious organization, yet they do not have a belief in any deity. In 2015, the organization stirred up controversy by unveiling a Baphomet statue in Detroit after failing to have it installed near a 10 Commandments monument in Oklahoma.

Although patients will still have to pay for the abortion medications prescribed, according to The Satanic Temple’s website, this will be provided free services, which are apparently part of the Temple’s “abortion ritual.” These services include telehealth screenings and appointments to prescribe abortion pills.

Last month, protesters organized by the Women’s March gathered around the country to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision. Some even gathered outside SCOTUS Bret Kavanaugh’s home. Vice President Kamala Harris gave a speech in support of the movement in Tallahassee, Florida, in which she omitted the word “life” when quoting the Declaration of Independence.

Recent lawsuits have also been launched in North Carolina and West Virginia to lift restrictions on abortion pills.
