Rumors CONFIRMED? 2024 Frontrunner Makes Big Move

(ConservativeSense.com) – In what appears to be another sign that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will be announcing his bid for the White House soon, one of his top officials announced he is stepping down to pursue “other avenues” of helping DeSantis.

Bryan Griffin announced his resignation as DeSantis’ press secretary in a letter on Monday, writing that he will be “stepping away” from the role in order to “pursue other avenues” to help the Florida governor on his mission.

Griffin described DeSantis as “the only leader who can see us to victory” during this time in American history, indicating the governor would be expanding his vision to the national level and pursuing the presidency. One of the first significant signs that DeSantis has this in mind is his new memoir, The Courage to Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival, the thesis of which is to apply the vision and policies implemented in Florida to the entire country – to “make America Florida.”

Last Thursday, DeSantis also broke ties with a state political committee that has millions of dollars in its coffers, another move signally a presidential campaign announcement is on its way.

Although he’s yet to declare an official campaign, DeSantis is making obvious moves in that direction, amassing a large amount of support amongst conservatives and receiving multiple public endorsements while making numerous visits to Republican primary states over the last year. Most polls also show that his popularity is trailing close behind former President Donald Trump, and surpasses every other candidate who’s actually declared a campaign officially, such as Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy.

It’s no secret that DeSantis is considered by most to be the number one threat to Trump winning the GOP nomination.

Griffin isn’t the first press secretary to step down in order to pursue another role in DeSantis’ political operation. Christina Pushaw, who served as press secretary before Griffin, stepped down last August to become DeSantis’ rapid response director.
