OVERTURNED – DEATH BLOW To GOP!

(ConservativeSense.com) – A federal judge in Arkansas overturned the nation’s first ban on so-called gender-affirming care for minors. US District Judge Jay Moody said the legislation is unconstitutional, opening the door to challenges in the many states that have passed similar laws.

In his ruling, the judge repeated the mantra of pro-trans activists and insisted that puberty blockers and surgeries on young children are in their best interests. He particularly objected to the section of the legislation that would not allow doctors to refer patients for these drugs and procedures.

“Rather than protecting children or safeguarding medical ethics, the evidence showed that the prohibited medical care improves the mental health and wellbeing of patients,” the judge wrote.

Gender-affirming care refers to the process of changing a person’s body to correspond with their “gender identity.” It can involve the distribution of drugs, known as puberty blockers, to young children to stop the normal physical progression of their bodies. One of the drugs used for this is Lupron, which has been given to pedophiles in the past to prevent them from offending.

The long-term effects of children taking Lupron are not entirely understood, but adverse events registered with the Food and Drug Administration suggest it may lead to brittle bones, joint problems, and emotional instability.

The UK’s National Health Service had long maintained that puberty blockers were safe and their effects reversible – a position strongly pushed by trans activists – but in a recent controversial move, the NHS admitted it could no longer make this claim. “Little is known about the long-term side effects of hormone or puberty blockers in children with gender dysphoria,” British doctors now admit.

Since the laws were passed in Arkansas, 18 states have initiated similar legislation. This includes Tennessee, where Audrey Hale, a “trans man,” shot and killed pupils and teachers from her old school. Trans protestors blamed “transphobia” and a major activist group posited that transphobia “has consequences.”
