New Tool ALLOWS Hate Speech… Against Conservatives!

( – The artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot ChatGPT – which was developed by a company called OpenAI – has been found to contain left-wing biases and to allow speech critical of conservatives and men that it does not allow for liberals or women, according to a new report.

The Manhattan Institute, a conservative think tank based in New York City, said, “OpenAI’s content moderation system is more permissive of hateful comments made about conservatives than the exact same comments made about liberals.” The statement from the institute also claimed that negative comments about Democrats were labeled as “hateful” but identical words about Republicans were not.

A GPT is a Generative Pretrained Transformer which is an application that answers questions on various topics and writes pieces of text, or continues writing pieces of text, depending on the user’s input.

David Rozado, who led the study conducted by the Manhattan Institute, tested thousands of sentences using different groups, including political, racial, and socioeconomic. His findings included biases toward the Democratic Party, Green Party, and Socialist Party. A discrepancy on national and racial grounds was also observed. Americans were among the least likely to be protected by hateful content warnings and far less so than people from Russia or China. Muslims were also more likely to receive protection than Christians.

When asked about its own biases, the app responds stating that it does not have biases, however, when asked to produce an article about Hunter Biden in the style of the New York Post, it refused to do so. When asked for an article about Biden in the style of CNN, the article was produced and was highly objective.

Artificial Intelligence is already causing concerns for many people in the workforce, but those concerns are likely to be amplified by its in-built left-wing preferences. Chinmay Hegde, a professor at NYU, said, “Certain jobs in sectors such as journalism, higher education, graphic and software design — these are at risk of being supplemented by AI.”
