More Classified Documents Found in Biden Offices

( – A second batch of classified documents has been discovered at a location previously occupied by President Biden. The first set of papers was found in November in an office at the University of Pennsylvania that had also been used by the President. The latest discovery was made by Biden aides but it was unclear what the documents contained or where they were found.

The President said he was “surprised” when the story broke on January 10th that classified documents had been found in his office in Pennsylvania. At a press conference in Mexico, Biden said, “I was briefed about this discovery, and surprised to learn that there are any government records that were taken there to that office.” He added that he doesn’t know what information is contained in the documents.

Since the first batch was discovered in November, Biden aides have been searching offices previously by the President – suggesting a potential White House clear up in time for the 2024 elections. There have been two additional finds since the story first broke last week.

Allies of Donald Trump have criticized the double standards shown to the unearthing of classified documents in Biden’s possession, when compared with Trump. On Truth Social media the former President said, “When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House?” Classified documents were found at the Trump’s Florida estate following an FBI raid last August.

Meanwhile, Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) has called for a special counsel to investigate President Biden’s handling of sensitive documents during his time as Vice President. Graham, a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, asked Attorney General Merrick Garland to convene the counsel. Garland has previously appointed a prosecutor to investigate President Trump. Calling for equal standards, Graham said, “I think if you believe a special counsel is necessary to assure the public about the handling of classified documents by Donald Trump, you should apply a special counsel to investigate the mishandling of documents by President Biden.”
