Marjorie Taylor Greene DEMANDS Release of Capitol Hill Footage!

( – Republican firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene has called for the public release of all footage recorded on Capitol Hill on January 6th, 2021. Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy controversially provided thousands of hours of footage to former Fox host Tucker Carlson. Still, Greene says more is needed, and Americans must know what those tapes contain.

The Georgia Rep. added that the mainstream media have played selected segments “on a loop” since the day, but people still do not know the truth about what “did or did not happen.”

When Tucker Carlson received the footage from McCarthy, he caused a storm by describing the day’s events as peaceful chaos. He said the mainstream media had consistently lied in describing the incident and deliberately evoked emotion by using the term “deadly insurrection.” Carlson maintained that it was neither deadly nor an insurrection.

His arguments centered around the death of Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick. Carlson said Democrats used the officer’s death as political capital and lied to the American public. He said Sicknick did not die as a result of an assault on Capitol Hill but passed away tragically the following day from natural causes.

Significantly, the tapes published by Carlson also revealed that so-called QAnon Shaman Jacob Chansley told the truth when he said he was guided into Capitol buildings by uniformed police. The footage showing this was kept from Chansley’s lawyer, who said he was unaware of it until Carlson publicized it.

Chansley became the most recognizable public face of the protest due to his fur headdress with horns. He was sentenced to almost four years in prison for his part in the day’s events but was released soon after Carlson published the film. Officials insisted, however, that his release was not connected to Carlson’s footage.

In January, Attorney General Merrick Garland said he would continue to pursue all protestors from the day. He said the investigation was one of the most complex in American history.
