Local Business REFUSES Republican Custom – Is This Ok?

(ConservativeSense.com) – A flower store in Nashville, Tennessee, has refused to supply Republican customers and urged other businesses to do the same. FLWR Shop, owned by Alex Vaughn and Quinn Kiesow, refused to provide flowers for the Republican National Committee event in the city and said other businesses in Nashville should not consent to do business with Republicans until they agreed to enact nationwide gun controls.

In a letter refusing custom to the RNC, the store owners said they respect their conservative customers, but an event featuring Donald Trump and Mike Pence, was beyond their “comfort level.” They said they had turned down the lucrative work because there was “blood on that money and we can have no part in that.”

An Instagram post by the couple stated that opposition to racism and defense of trans rights is not a political matter.

The move comes weeks after Audrey Hale, who identifies as a “trans man,” murdered three children and three adults at her former school – a Christian establishment in the city. Left-wing activists have defended Hale, and some have even suggested that her violence was an inevitable response to what they deem “anti-trans” laws passed in Tennessee and other GOP-led states.

The exact motive for the killings remains unclear, although Metropolitan Nashville Police Chief John Drake said “resentment” played a significant part. He said Hale had meticulously planned the attacks, and the school was not the only establishment that she targeted.

Despite evidence that the trans movement is ever more radical and violent, Democrats have insisted that the primary problem is the availability of guns. Benny Johnson, an activist with Turning Point USA, a conservative group, posted a tweet highlighting violent attacks carried about by trans people. “The Colorado Springs shooter identified as non-binary. The Denver shooter identified as trans. The Aberdeen shooter identified as trans. The Nashville shooter identified as trans. One thing is VERY clear: the modern trans movement is radicalizing activists into terrorists,” Johnson wrote.
