He’s RUNNING – As A Democrat Candidate?

(ConservativeSense.com) – Robert F. Kennedy Jr. filed paperwork on Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission and officially declared his 2024 presidential campaign for the Democratic Party nomination.

Kennedy Jr., who is a well-known environmentalist and anti-vaccine activist, will be challenging President Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination as well as spiritual self-help author Marianna Williamson, who’s the only other prominent candidate to announce their campaign as a Democrat.

The 69-year-old author and activist is the son of Robert F. Kennedy, a former senator, U.S. attorney general, and a presidential candidate himself in 1968 until his death by assassination. Kennedy Jr. is also the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated a few years before his brother, in 1963, while still in office. JFK’s death was one of the defining moments of the 1960s and shocked the entire world.

Kennedy Jr. became a major critic of vaccines, and he was one the biggest opponents of how the 2020 pandemic was handled as well as vaccine mandates, which resulted in many mainstream pundits dismissing him as a “conspiracy theorist.” He was also suspended from Instagram in 2021 for sharing his positions on these matters when social media platforms had more strict protocols to crack down on anyone questioning vaccine safety.

Revealing last month on Twitter that he was considering a presidential run, Kennedy Jr. said he would “jump into the race” if he thought he could “raise the money and mobilize enough people to win.” He said his “top priority” as president “will be to end the corrupt merger between state and corporate power that has ruined our economy, shattered the middle class, and polluted our landscapes and waters, poisoned our children, and robbed us of our values and freedoms.”

Although it’s expected that Biden will run for a second term, he still hasn’t announced his campaign.
