He’s Pleading GUILTY – January 6th Charges Update!

(ConservativeSense.com) – A man from Washington state who was accused of entering the U.S. Capitol building on Jan 6 plead guilty on Monday.

64-year-old Jeffrey Grace plead guilty to entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds. As part of the plea deal, Grace had three additional charges dropped. He is scheduled for sentencing in August and could face up to 6 months in prison for the misdemeanor.

Jeremy Grace, Jeffrey Grace’s son, also plead guilty to the same charge last year, having three others dropped. He was sentenced to 21 days in prison as well as a supervised release.

Both father and son traveled to Washington, D.C. in January 2021 to attend the “Stop the Steal” rally in support of then-President Donald Trump, staying at a local hotel with a Proud Boys member who court documents identified as “Travis.” All three men attended a Proud Boys meeting which took place on Jan. 5, the day before the rally. The following day, Grace and his son joined up with a large group of Proud Boys members who met at the Washington Monument and then marched to the Capitol building.

Photos and video footage were shared by federal prosecutors showing both men toward the frontlines of the group of protesters who pushed through Capitol Police toward the building, as well as photos of themselves taken inside the Capitol building and outside on the grounds.

Just last month, an FBI informant who marched with the Proud Boys that day testified in defense of former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio that he did not know of any plans by the right-wing group to storm the Capitol building. He also testified that he doesn’t think they inspired or provoked any of the violence that occurred.

And last week, the infamous “Q Shaman” Jacob Chansley was released early a few weeks after new footage aired by Tucker Carlson showed him being escorted around the Capitol building by police.
