Jan 6th JUDGEMENT – Man Given SHOCKING Verdict!

(ConservativeSense.com) – The man who attacked U.S. Capitol Police officers with a flagpole on January 6, 2021, in Washington, D.C., was just sentenced on Thursday.

40-year-old Michael Steven Perkins from Plant City, Florida, was sentenced to four years in prison on Thursday by a federal court in Washington, D.C., a day after 25-year-old Joshua Christopher Doolin from Lakeland was also sentenced to a year and a half. Earlier this year, both men were convicted on felony charges related to their actions on January 6, after which they were arrested at the end of June 2021.

Aside from charges for entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds and disorderly and disruptive conduct, Perkins was hit with separate charges for assaulting a federal officer with a weapon and engaging in violence while clashing with police on the Capitol grounds. Doolin had an additional charge for stealing government property.

Perkins and Doolin clashed with police on the west side of the Capitol building, and at one point, Perkins thrust a flagpole into the chest of one officer, after which he struck two others behind their heads.

There are three other co-defendants. Two of them, who were also arrested in June 2021 alongside Perkins and Doolin, tampered with their ankle monitors and then disappeared; there are currently warrants out for their arrest. The fifth was never caught, and the FBI is currently offering up to $30,000 to anyone with information that helps them capture and convict him.

This sentencing is just the latest in news related to January 6, which seems to be coming in every week now. From former President Donald Trump’s third indictment on accusations of inciting a riot and trying to overturn the election to Ray Epps suing Fox News and former host Tucker Carlson, it seems that day in D.C. will continue to haunt American politics for years to come.
