Bud Light Of Baseball? Dodgers Go All In For Ungodly Group

(ConservativeSense.com) – The Los Angeles Dodgers will welcome a group of “queer and trans nuns” to a home game next month. The team is to host an LGBTQ+ Pride Night in June, where they will face off against the San Francisco Giants in front of an audience of guests. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were initially invited to the event but the Dodgers rescinded the invitation following complaints that it was an anti-Catholic organization.

LA Pride, the umbrella group organizing Pride Month, refused to participate because the drag queens were uninvited. In the latest of the twists and turns, the invite is valid again. The Dodgers furthermore apologized for rescinding the original offer.

“The Los Angeles Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and their friends and families,” the team said.

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence was founded in San Francisco in 1979. Their members wear flamboyant nuns outfits and make-up. One of its founding members, known as Roma, said the initial intention was to counter the hyper-masculine appearance of gay men at the time. Roma said they grew tired of that culture and decided to wear “nun’s habits and sort of go out and screw with people.”

Catholics, however, complain that the group is offensive and mocks their faith. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) wrote to the Major League Baseball (MLB) Commissioner Rob Manfred, saying the Dodgers’ decision to invite the group to June’s event was not “inclusive” of Christians who find them offensive. In his letter, Rubio said the “sisters” are men who dress as lewd imitations of Catholic nuns and have a motto “Go and sin some more.” The Senator said this is a gross insult to millions of Catholics worldwide.

He concluded his letter by stating it would be an outrage and a tragedy if MLB rebuked the faith that millions of baseball fans cherish.
