Biden Official Helped Construct Secret School Policy for Kids

(ConservativeSense.com) – Sam Brinton, the Biden administration official fired for allegedly stealing luggage at an airport, was involved in the creation of a school policy encouraging kids to keep their “gender identity” a secret from their parents.

Brinton, who calls himself “non-binary” was arrested in November for having allegedly taken a woman’s suitcase at St Paul’s airport in Minneapolis. He has since faced charges in Nevada for the same offense. He was charged in December with the theft of a bag worth $3,670 at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas and could face a hefty prison term.

Now it has been revealed that the former employee of the Biden Department of Energy was involved in the creation of a policy that would prevent schools from informing parents of their child’s “gender identity” without their consent. Before joining the federal government, Brinton was head of advocacy and government affairs at the LGBTQ youth organization The Trevor Project. In this role, he co-wrote the ‘Model School District Policy on Suicide Prevention’ in 2019. The model has been adopted at schools across the country.

Under the heading “Special Considerations”, the policy document urges against informing parents if children are confused about their sexuality or gender. “Disclosing a student’s sexual orientation or gender identity without their explicit consent can in some cases endanger the student and at a minimum will impair the rapport developed with professional”, the document states.

Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wy) has called for an investigation into the vetting process for employees in the Biden administration. Democrats, as well as many others on the ‘woke’ left, often openly admit to placing ‘diversity’ as a top priority when selecting staff. However, Sen. Barrosso said, “When people are appointed to critical positions with important national security responsibilities, Americans must be confident they can be trusted.”
