(ConservativeSense.com) – A North Korean defector has said that President Biden is afraid to admit that China is an enemy of the United States.
The author Yeonmi Park, whose family fled North Korea in 2007, said, “For Biden to acknowledge North Korea as a threat, that means that he needs to acknowledge that China is a threat against America because the only reason that North Korea exists currently is because of Chinese Communist Party’s help.”
Park initially went to China after fleeing the secretive communist state of North Korea before eventually moving to the United States in 2014. A US citizen, she has written and spoken extensively about her experiences living under communist rule.
In her recent interview with Breitbart News, she said that China is entirely responsible for keeping the horrific regime in North Korea in power and that the horrors inside China itself are covered up by the Western mainstream media. Republicans however appear to be trying to wade through the propaganda and confront the truth.
A new House Committee on the strategic competition between the US and China has been formed. Chairman of the committee Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) said the aim of the group will be to identify the dangers of China and to unify Congress against them.
The President, as well as the Democratic Party more broadly, have long been accused of naivete in their approach to the communist country. Floridian Senator Rick Scott recently said that Biden is adopting a policy of appeasement with China and is therefore placing the US in a position of weakness on the world stage.
Some of the President’s critics believe he is compromised by his relationship with China, particularly so given their financial ties. A series of revelations show enormous donations to institutions involving Biden flowing in from China in recent years.
In 2021, Donald Trump said the President has a very close personal relationship with the Chinese leadership.
