Biden Blasted Over Amnesty Plan’s Impact on Social Security

( – With the election just a few months away, former President Donald Trump’s campaign is turning the heat up on President Joe Biden by accusing him of risking American seniors’ Medicaid and Social Security benefits by issuing an executive order to grant “mass amnesty” to over 500,000 illegal aliens.

Karoline Leavitt, a Trump campaign spokeswoman, published a statement on Tuesday, June 18, responding to executive orders from Biden announced the same day that will benefit hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens on the American taxpayer’s dime, and at the cost of their own social services programs.

The president issued two executive orders, one of which would fast-track particular illegal immigrants who meet specific criteria to obtain legal citizenship without being deported to undergo the proper process, and the other would provide work visas to students.

The first order will impact about half a million illegal aliens who will now be able to obtain their green cards if they have lived in the US for at least a decade from the look-back date of June 17. Additionally, roughly 50,000 undocumented children will also be able to submit green card applications if their illegal parent marries an American citizen.

The second executive order would provide hundreds of thousands of illegals with work visas if they graduated from an American university, including beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program signed into law by former President Barack Obama in 2012.

Leavitt’s statement warned against Biden’s plans, which she said would only create more crime and cost millions for taxpayers, whose social services programs she said will be drained to help the illegal aliens. The spokeswoman noted that Americans spent “their entire working lives” paying into Medicaid and Social Security Programs, which should benefit them rather than people who break the law to come to the US.

The Trump spokeswoman concluded that the president’s plan amounts to “another invitation” for immigrants to enter the country illegally, only exacerbating the crisis at the southern border rather than mitigating the problem.
