Bannon’s Daughter: He Won’t Be ‘Silenced’ Forever

( – Former White House strategist Steve Bannon’s daughter, Maureen Bannon, says her father’s voice won’t be silenced but will only get louder.

Maureen Bannon appeared on “Just the News, No Noise” on Tuesday, July 2, and said that “War Room,” her father’s television show, would “not be silenced.” She said that prosecutors believe they can make Bannon’s show “go away” by locking him up and that no one will “hear his voice.”

Bannon’s daughter, who is the CEO of “War Room,” said not only is this “not true,” but that her father’s voice “will get louder” as a result.

The former Trump White House strategist reported to the Federal Correctional Institute Danbury in Connecticut on Monday, July 1, to begin serving his sentence of four months for contempt of Congress. The charges for which he was convicted stemmed from Bannon’s refusal to comply with a congressional subpoena during the investigation of the Jan. 6 riots at the Capitol in Washington, D.C., in 2021.

In July 2022, Bannon was found guilty of refusing the Jan. 6 House Committee’s request for deposition and refusing to turn over documents related to Trump’s actions leading up to the Capitol riot. He and the former president are accused of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election by inciting an insurrection to interrupt the certification of the Electoral College votes.

Maureen Bannon said that although her father may “not be behind the mic every day” throughout his four-month sentence, “War Room” will feature “amazing guest hosts” to continue getting the word out. Before beginning his sentence, Bannon said he was a “political prisoner” but “proud” to serve his sentence in order to stand up to the Biden administration.

Trump is currently facing multiple trials of his own related to Jan. 6 and alleged election interference, but a recent Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity may result in some of his charges being dropped.
